Two Half-Day Workshops With Grief Expert Darcie Sims, Ph.D.

Internationally recognized grief expert Darcie Sims, Ph.D., will conduct two workshops on understanding and coping with grief. The first workshop, Exploring the Myths and Language of Grief, will examine the myths of grief and challenge the language we use to describe it. The second workshop, Living with Goodbye: Coping with Anticipatory Grief, will explore the issues of anticipatory grief and the various dimensions of adapting to change. Each workshop offers three CE credits for health professionals (LPN, RN, ARNP, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT). The workshops are co-sponsored by Haven Hospice and Forest Meadows Funeral Home.
